Cancellations and refunds

Please read this before you pay. Every booklet, bookmark and candle is made specially for your family, so we cannot resell it. This is what happens if you cancel:

Before you pay the deposit

Nothing to pay. Our design work is free until you approve.

After the deposit, before we start printing or making candles

We refund your deposit, less our design fee (R149.⁷⁵ for booklets and bookmarks, R29.⁷⁵ for a candle design).

After we have started printing or making candles

We keep 50% of the order value. Anything you paid above that is refunded.

After collection or delivery

We cannot accept change-of-mind returns.

Mistakes and changes

If we make a mistake, or what we deliver does not match the proof you approved, we reprint it or refund you in full.

If the funeral date changes after printing, we can reprint with the new details. Message us for a quote.

Please check your proof carefully

Before we print, we ask you to reply:

“I confirm all names, dates and times are correct. Approved for print.”

We print exactly what you approve, so check every name, date and time. Colours can look slightly different on paper than on screen, and booklets are not waterproof.

Deposits and payment

We start printing once you have approved your design and we have received a 50% deposit. The full payment terms are on our terms page.

Your rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act. If something is not right, please contact us and we will help.
